The institute is devoted to the study of pasta cooking, salsa dancing and house cleaning. We often organize workshops, slide shows, and seminars on these topics. We also fix camalots and friends with nylon and popsicle (preferably bon-bon-bum) sticks.

In our free time we do physics and photography (bosons in optical lattices, magnetic dynamo experiments with turbulent sodium, gravity on discrete spatio-temporal lattices and also curatorial work at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C.)
